Who are we?
BootjeSpeciaal is a young company that offers boat trips and takes groups on a fully catered tour of Groningen's canals. While enjoying a drink, you will experience the inner city in an innovative and fun way.
We are a small team that values customer satisfaction. We work closely together in an informal way and derive satisfaction from providing an enjoyable cruise. We have several years of experience in this industry and therefore know better than anyone what it takes to organise an unforgettable day.
What does your day look like?
As skipper, you are the caretaker of the super fun canal cruise in Groningen. Before you start, you prepare the boat to provide the day's groups with enough food and drinks. You put the beer, wine and soft drinks with ice in coolers on the boat. Then you start the boat and sail with fully loaded cool boxes to one of the pick-up points to collect the customer. You then sail for 2 or 3 hours through the Groningen canals while the customer enjoys a drink on board.

What we expect from you
As a skipper, you know how to handle the great responsibility you are offered. This means you are friendly and helpful to customers and think along in a solution-oriented way. Furthermore, we consider it important that:
- You are independent and self-reliant;
- You are flexibly available at weekends, you find it
- not mind sailing a last-minute booking;
- You are easily accessible to the team;
- You are enthusiastic in your work and contact with customers.
Good to know:
- Group size varies between 20 to 34 people. The boat is 9m. long and is easy to steer using 2 electric motors.
- Driving licence B is a plus
- You will work mainly on weekends, weekdays by arrangement;
- Working hours from 11:00 am to 21:30 max (depending on the number of bookings).
- Affinity with boats and boating

- The opportunity to arrange your own schedule, you decide when you work!
- An hourly rate of €20 excluding VAT on a self-employed basis. You keep track of your hours yourself and invoice these to the Bootje Speciaal
